A simple observation

Muslim families were facing real challenges — but few places offered support that was both professional and rooted in Islamic values.

The Beginning

First workshops in masjids

With 17+ years of teaching, our founders began delivering workshops across England. The response was overwhelming.

Workshops grew into counselling, resources, and partnerships. We were registered as a charity — No. 1210946.

50+ workshops delivered, 3,000+ students supported, hundreds counselled — with much more to come, in shā Allāh.

Shaykh Zubair Patel

Born in London, Shaykh Zubair enrolled at the age of 16 into the Alimiyyah program at Jami'atul Ilm wa'l Huda, Blackburn, graduating in 2005 with the highest marks throughout his studies. He was selected to teach at the same institute while also gaining a specialisation in Hanafi jurisprudence.

After qualifying as a Mufti and serving as a teacher for 3 years, he returned to London to serve the local community. He is one of the founders of the Newham Ulama Forum — a body uniting senior scholars, imams and leaders across Newham — and teaches the higher Islamic sciences at various institutions across London.

As co-founder and instructor at MFF, Shaykh Zubair travels around the country delivering workshops and seminars and is soon to publish his first book, a manual on Islamic Inheritance.

Shaykh Muaaz Vahora

Shaykh Muaaz memorised the Qur'an at the age of 13 and enrolled at Imam Zakariya Academy, London at 16, where he excelled in the Islamic sciences while simultaneously attaining a first-class degree in Engineering from QMUL. He then pursued a post-graduate specialisation in Hanafi jurisprudence under Mufti Abdur Rahman Mangera.

As co-founder and resident researcher at MFF, Shaykh Muaaz dedicates his time to the daily running of the foundation and preparing workshops and courses. He is also the founder of Qibla Institute in Luton, providing high-quality Islamic education to adults and children, and delivers lectures across the city.

Instructor

Mufti Mohammed Wahaajuddin

Imam and Resident Scholar of the Tawheed Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Mufti Wahaajuddin completed his Qur'an memorisation in 2003 and holds a Bachelor's in Management from Georgia Tech. He has studied the Islamic sciences extensively, earning ijazah in the major Hadith works and the ten modes of Qur'anic recitation, and later completed his Iftaa specialisation from Jamia Ashrafia, Lahore.

He has served as Imam and Director of Education at the Tawheed Center since 2012, teaching, leading and speaking throughout the greater Detroit area. He collaborates with MFF as a guest instructor.
